Our Color Guard competed and co-hosted a solo and ensemble contest at Lamar HS on Saturday. Damariz Serrano received a one and placed second in the beginner division. Nadia Fields, Racquelle Martinez, Angela Tang and Michael Sotelo received one in the intermediate division. Michael placed first and Angela placed second. Sarah Young earned a one and placed first in the advanced division. Sarah Young and Bailey Northington earned a one and placed first in the advanced ensemble division.

Mon-Friday: Marching Fundamentals camp 4-6.
Make sure that you have your instrument, shorts, t-shirt, sunglasses, hat and water jug.
Marching Band Registration 5/31
Marching Band registration for next year is on 5/31. Registration is required for all band members. This is when we fit for uniforms, get rehearsal shirts, flip folders, lyres and make the first payment of the marching band fee.

5/30 State Solo and Ensemble
6/6-9 Percussion Fundamentals
6/19-23 Leadership Camp at TAMU in Commerce
All students that made a leadership spot for next year are required to go to marching band leadership camp on June 19-23 at TAMU in Commerce TX and will be paid for by the Band Booster Club. All students are welcome and encouraged to go whether they make a spot or not. This is a great week to learn more about marching, playing and being a role model and I will get you more information.
Charms is a web-based suite created exclusively for band programs. Band Calendar, Emails, Uniforms, Instrument Rentals, Student Accounts . . . They are all run through this program. A Charms account is FREE to Parents and Students.
